Dr Bhullar is a forensic psychologist from Australia who moved to the UK in 2003. She enjoyed a diverse and exciting career in a number of NHS forensic mental health services around the UK, before moving into private practice in 2020 after some very difficult workplace experiences and bereavement, which coincided with the onset of the pandemic.
Her private practice is growing and diversifying, it is underpinned by a passion for practicing from a position of lifelong experience of being "different". Her main interests are helping those who have struggled with being "different", and the effective, meaningful and ethical intervention for, and prevention of the impact of trauma on professionals in mission-driven roles, particularly experiences of moral injury and institutional betrayal.
She has lived experience of autism and is passionate about contributing to increasing awareness and understanding of the experiences of highly-masked, late-diagnosed autistic people. She has a keen interest in the development and application of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
Dr Bhullar appeared as a guest on the Locked Up Living Podcast to discuss her experiences working in forensic mental health services, her involvement in delivering radically open DBT, her realization of being autistic and her contribution to a forthcoming book on neuro-narratives of mental health. In this conversation, Malinder discusses her journey of discovering her neurodiversity, specifically autism.
You can access Dr Bhullar's episode 'Hidden in Plain Sight: Discovering Autism in Adulthood' using this link:

Dr Sherlock is a Clinical Psychologist and accredited EMDR Consultant and Supervisor who has worked in physical health settings since qualifying in 2009. She was the clinical lead for an NHS pain psychology service for 7 years prior to setting up a multidisiciplinary team helping people with persistent pain in the independent sector (Retraining Pain). She specialises in helping people with trauma and pain using a broad range of approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion focussed therapy, EMDR therapy and CBT. She has significant experience of working with people with varying pain presentations, including fibromyalgia, CRPS, phantom limb pain, chronic migraine, pelvic pain and other catastrophic injuries which have led to persistent pain, alongside complex psychological trauma symptoms.
Chronic or persistent pain affects millions of people in the UK and it understandably affects our emotions, the activities we engage in and the way we think about ourselves. Many people with pain have been told to ‘learn to live with it’, feel disbelieved, or hopeless that their situation can improve. Through working with hundreds of people with pain, I know there is so much pain psychologists such as myself can do to help.

Dr. Patapia Tzotzoli envisions a world where mental health is understood and openly embraced. She believes that our relationship with mental health determines the quality of our lives and those around us. She asserts that caring for our mental health is not merely a privilege but a duty and a right as well as a fundamental requirement for growing into a healthy, functional adult and, ultimately, contributing to a healthier society.
Dr. Tzotzoli is a fully licensed clinical psychologist in the UK, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Association of Clinical Psychologists (ACP) as well as the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EuroPsy).
Dr. Tzotzoli studied at the Universities of East London, Oxford, and Cambridge. She trained in the UK's oldest Clinical Psychology program within the Department of Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London. Her specialist placements were across three world-renowned NHS Trusts: South London & Maudsley, King’s College Hospital, and Guy’s & St. Thomas’, collectively known as King’s Health Partners.
In recent years, Dr. Tzotzoli has been running her own clinic in the UK, offering session to clients both face-to-face and virtually. Previously, she held a post as a neuropsychologist in the Department of Neuropsychology at Queen’s Hospital, Romford, within the Barking, Havering, and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. Prior to this, she was employed as a clinical psychologist & research director at the Neurosurgery Clinic and Gamma Knife Department at Hygeia Hospital in Athens, Greece.
Her career path has been marked by unique choices. She founded My Psychology Clinic and moved to private practice, after several years in the NHS and was an early adopter of online therapy. At the same time, following a victory in a business plan competition, she ventured into entrepreneurship with a digital mental health start-up. Together with her team, she devoted years to the development and research of MePlusMe, a web-based system she created, designed to enhance university students' mental health and academic abilities.
Opting for an unconventional career path has led her to growth, resilience, and innovation, culminating in a comprehensive range of services developed over time. Presently, her offerings include personal development products and the operation of a clinic with a vast team of mental health experts (My Triage Network), while she still conducts therapy sessions for a select clientele, providing a bespoke experience. When working with her clients, she fosters a supportive and healing environment and uses customized, evidence-based interventions. Her areas of interest span life transitions, building resilience, self-regulation, personal growth, efficiency, authenticity, parenting, and relationship dynamics. Clients learn strategies to navigate immediate challenges, enhance their relationships, and address future hurdles effectively. Her methodology equips them to develop resilience, deepen self-awareness, adopt a growth-oriented mindset, and improve personal efficacy, all of which contribute to a fulfilling life.

I see psychological therapy as a beautiful weaving of science and art. The work that I offer is highly bespoke and informed by neuroscience, attachment theories and child development alongside over 20 years of insights and experience, a keen intuition and deep appreciation of the human mind, body and heart.
Through my dedication to support families, children and adults to feel loved and be loved, I have worked in schools, intensive care units, special care baby units, in charities and the NHS. I now work solely in a private practice with people from and located all across the world. I am based in London, Stroud, and online as well as in GARAS (Gloucestershire Action for Refugee and Asylum Seekers), which is very close to my heart. I have three wonderful children and love to walk, swim, read, study and spend time with my family and friends. Now, the main part of my work is with people of all ages who are looking for tailored ways to be supported compassionately in their transformation.
In our current culture, much emphasis is placed on our external self. When a rock enthusiast finds a geode, they get excited. They know the beauty that lies within each and every one. The outward appearance may seem very ordinary, perhaps even rough and imperfect, but as they go inside and look deeper, the beauty and uniqueness that lies within is revealed. Never before has there been such a high prevalence of distress and despair. Maybe we forgot the story of the geode and what lies beneath. It is my utmost belief and experience that we all have the right and potential to come back to this and it is my absolute passion and pleasure to offer this service to all I have the privilege of working with.
